Alphabetizer

Paste a list — names, terms, vocabulary, anything line-by-line — and sort it alphabetically in either direction. Options let you ignore capitalization and drop duplicate lines while sorting.

How to use the Alphabetizer

  1. Paste your list, one item per line.
  2. Choose Sort A–Z or Sort Z–A.
  3. Copy the sorted result with one click.

Sorting happens entirely in your browser, so even long lists are instant and your data stays on your device.

How sorting behaves

The tool sorts line by line, and blank lines are dropped before sorting. Sort A–Z puts items in ascending order; Sort Z–A reverses it.

Ignore case (on by default) treats Apple and apple as equal and follows standard alphabetical order. Turn it off and uppercase sorts before lowercase. Remove duplicates drops repeated lines — and when ignore case is on, Apple and apple count as the same line.
